The fastest way to get help is email: rosemary@f248glm.me. Rosemary is made by one person, so the reply comes from someone who knows the app rather than a ticket queue.

If something went wrong, it helps to mention your iPhone model, your iOS version and what you were doing when it happened. The app’s own version number is in Settings → About → Version.

Nothing appears on my other device

Rosemary syncs through your own iCloud account, not through a server of ours. Both devices need to be signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud enabled for Rosemary — device Settings → your name → iCloud. Syncing needs a network connection and can take a moment; the Data section in the app’s Settings shows the current iCloud status.

I already paid, but the app asks me to buy it again

Open Settings → About → Restore Purchases while signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. The unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase: it stays with that Apple Account and can be restored on any device, at any time, at no further cost.

What happens when the trial ends?

Rosemary is free for 14 days, then a single purchase — there is no subscription and nothing renews. When the trial ends you can still open the app, read everything you recorded, browse your stats, export a CSV and delete whatever you like. Adding or editing transactions and creating new accounts or categories are what need the full version.

Does Rosemary connect to my bank?

No — and it is not going to. There is no bank sync and no automatic import: every transaction is one you entered yourself. That is a deliberate choice, and it is also why Rosemary asks for no account, no sign-in and none of your banking credentials.

Where do exchange rates come from?

Balances held in other currencies are converted with public rate tables — Exchange Rate API for national currencies, CoinGecko for cryptocurrencies. Rosemary downloads them when you are online and caches them on the device, so the app keeps working offline with the most recent rates it managed to fetch. Those requests carry nothing about you or your money; they only ask what today’s rates are.

How do I get my data out?

Settings → Data → Export Data writes a CSV that you share yourself through the standard iOS share sheet — to Files, to a mail app, to wherever you keep things. Nothing is uploaded anywhere in the process.

How do I erase everything?

Settings → Erase All Data wipes your records. It asks you to type a word first, because it cannot be undone and it reaches every device signed in to the same account. Deleting Rosemary from a device removes what is stored on that device; the copy in your iCloud account can be removed in device Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Privacy

Rosemary collects nothing: no account, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Your records stay on your device and in your own iCloud account. The full text is in the privacy policy, and it is also readable inside the app under Settings → About.
